The river beneath our streets
A six-second documentary text match cut.
How the cut works
Each page puts “river” in the same spot. As the surrounding type and survey drawings change, your eye can stay on the word. The layouts are original illustrations made for this example.
The widescreen clip runs at 120 beats per minute, with a new document every half second. The sample is silent. Open it in the generator to replace the headline, choose another focal word or line up the cuts with your music. Choose every other beat to hold each page for a full second at this tempo.
