Bouncing paper sticker animation recipe

Turn a simple cutout into a playful reaction sticker. Sticker Bounce keeps the edge clean, removes paper texture, and adds a small vertical bounce. A white border and soft shadow help the subject stand apart from a colorful background.

Original paper-star study rendered with this recipe's edge, texture, shadow, speed, and intensity. Download the example or open it in the editor to replace the star with your own image.

Make this look

A pet, reaction portrait, small illustration, or a product with a clear outline. The square canvas is a useful starting point for a sticker or a social post, while the editor remains free to change the ratio.

  1. Try the star sample before selecting a photo. Choose a strong silhouette with enough detail to recognize when the final sticker is shown small.
  2. The white border starts at 15 with roughness 2. There is no added paper texture, so the source image stays clean. Increase border thickness if the image will sit over detailed footage.
  3. Bounce starts at intensity 34 and speed 1.3×. Leave room above the subject for its highest point. Lower movement if the bounce distracts from text or a speaker's face.

Finish the edit

For a still sticker, download a transparent PNG frame. For movement, test the transparent video format supported by your browser and destination app. Keep a green-screen version available if that app cannot preserve alpha. A white background export remains opaque.

A downloaded animation is an asset, not an automatically installed messaging sticker pack. Different platforms impose their own format and duration limits; check those requirements before preparing a whole collection.
